In common with all AOC Bugey-Cerdon wines, all wine produced at the Renardat-Fache vineyard is made using the méthode ancestral fermentation technique from Poulsard and Gamay grapes. This method of vinification allows the wine to ferment naturally without having to add any extra sugars or yeasts. The first fermentation takes place in a vat and during this time the temperature of the wine is kept constant to ensure the lovely pink colour. The wine is then filtered and bottled and it is in the bottle that the second fermentation takes place which gives the wine its distinctive bubbles and fizz. Vignerons Alain and Elie Renardat-Fache will be happy to welcome you to their domaine to sample their fantastic wine.

From 02/01 to 29/12 Opening hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 9 am and 12 pm and between 2 pm and 5.30 pm. Closed on Sunday. Closed exceptionally on Easter Monday, Feast of the Ascension, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, July 14th, August 15th, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
