From the refuge, you can embark on: Tour of the Vanoise Glaciers with its green balcony, an ice crossing, an iconic summit Dent Parrachée like a rock face (the great Chatelard) ... Or just an afternoon in the sun loungers! Time for a night, you'll also get to savor the atmosphere if special cohabitation aloft in a small space where each sharing the passion of the other.
Tips
Refuge on the route GR5 and 55. Hike to the half day: Lake Génépy 2906 m, 400 m altitude, easy. Day hikes: Col d'Aussois elevation 600 m, easy. Col Roche Chevrière: 500 m elevation, experienced unmarked route.
