Located in Talloires-Montmin on the shores of Lake Annecy, the Auberge du Père Bise is ideally situated at the heart of a natural crossroads between the Bauges massif, the Vanoise park, Lake Bourget, Lake Geneva, the Mont-Blanc valley and Chamonix.
Half an hour from Annecy, 1h30 from Lyon and 40 minutes from Geneva by car, 3 hours from Paris by TGV, but also accessible from Annecy by boat across the lake, Magali and Jean Sulpice welcome you to this legendary home for a genuine, authentic immersion in the heart of the Alps.
In 2016, Jean and Magali acquired a cult house, inseparable from Lake Annecy and its history: the Auberge du Père Bise. With the determination to continue the story without ever erasing the legacy and influence of their predecessors, a new chapter opens in Talloires.
Located on the shores of Lake Annecy, the Auberge du Père Bise is an invitation to rediscover the Alps... differently. It offers haute alpine cuisine by Jean Sulpice, and a hotel and spa in perfect harmony with its surroundings.
Magali Sulpice benevolently ensures the harmony of all experiences at the heart of this house, which she wishes above all to be warm and welcoming. She is the mastermind behind the coherence that will make your stay unique.
Setting up a sustainable and eco-responsible kitchen, thanks to a number of practices, such as :
- Sorting waste (compost, oil, cardboard, etc.);
- Reducing the use of single-use plastic, awarded the Plastic Free label in 2022;
- Sourcing from local suppliers and producers: fishermen from Lake Annecy, winegrowers and market gardeners, wooden plates and ceramics from local artists, etc. ;
- The use of herbs from the Auberge's own herb garden or picked in the countryside;
- The use of a 100% electric vehicle.
