Bornes to fly
Manigod
The Bornes To Fly is a friendly race combining paragliding and walking, in the tradition of the famous X-Alps.
It is the first organised Walk and Fly World Cup, a competition validated by the FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale). It will be the start of the development of a world circuit. The pilots will compete over a three-day course, punctuated by two bivouacs in the heart of nature. The route, ranging from 100 to 250 kilometres, will be chosen by the Event Director to suit the weather conditions. To be considered as passed, the waypoints must be crossed, by flight or on foot, within a radius defined at the briefing. The list of beacons to be passed will be given to the pilots by the clerk of the course at the briefing.
