Castanea - Espace découverte de la Châtaigne d'Ardèche is located in the medieval town of Joyeuse, in a sublime building dating from the 17th century.
Castanea showcases the skills and know-how of our chestnut growers and processors, helping you to appreciate this fruit, which is now part of our gastronomic heritage and a source of great pride.

Opening hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 2 pm and 6 pm.
Closed on Monday.
Closed exceptionally on Whit Monday and May 1st.

From 01/07 to 31/08
Opening hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 10 am and 6 pm. On Saturday and Sunday between 2 pm and 6 pm.

From 01/09 to 02/11 between 2 pm and 6 pm.
Closed on Monday.
Closed exceptionally on November 1st.
