Caval' en CAPI horse & carriage tours

The CAPI region neighbours the Lyon area, stretching north and south of Bourgoin-Jallieu, Isle d'Abeau and Villefontaine. Everybody has taken this motorway once in their lifetime, unsuspecting of the many environmentally sensitive areas that surround it, with beautiful paths and picturesque woodland. This is a place to explore over a whole weekend, bivouacking or staying in guesthouses!

Each stage of the itinerary covers about 25 km. Three-day tours are proposed with bivouac or guestroom accommodation.

The trails are identified by a horse's head stuck onto the yellow markings on the PDIPR hiking-trail signposts, but we recommend you take with you an IGN map, ref. 3132 E Bourgoin Jallieu.

For the overnight stops you can sleep in a tent at a Relais Cyné bivouac site, or stay in a luxury guestroom. The choice is yours!
