Chez Louloutte
Lyon ème
One of Lyon’s typical “bouchon” restaurant with immense frescos telling tales of Lyon and its “mères” (i.e. early female restaurant owners).
At Chez Louloutte’s, you can enjoy authentic regional cuisine in a warm atmosphere worthy of Lyon’s historic culinary royalty, who are illustrated on the restaurant walls. Guignol and Louloutte might be next to the “Tontons Flingueurs” (i.e. Crooks in Clover) table but the generous dishes respect tradition. Quenelles, andouillettes, hot saucisson in a red wine sauce or chicken liver gâteaux will all delight guests, and the famous praline tart or the Chef’s crème caramel will bring a smile to anyone’s face.
The restaurant also has several private lounges, decorated with famous frescos, which can be specially booked for family reunions, non-profit or business events.
3 mins from Place Bellecour and less than 10 mins on foot from the Saint-Jean neighbourhood, Chez Louloutte’s celebrates the conviviality of Lyon’s restaurant scene.
