From 4 to 6 years old, the Cham Mini-Loup lets your children discover the Chamonix Valley environment through a combination of fun and educational outdoor activities.
From 7 to 13, Cham Kid offers a more sporting multi-activity program: rafting on the Arve River, zip-lining on the Accro'Park and hiking in the forest on Chamonix Valley trails.
Cham Ado activities, for 14-18 year-olds, offer resolutely sporting adventures in the great outdoors: glacier outings, ice climbing, ski touring, rock climbing, mountain biking and Via Ferrata.
The Kid and Ado stays guarantee your children a real immersion in the mountains, including nights in refuges or tents.
Sustainable tourism
The Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix wishes to take climate change into account in all its actions. As such, we are committed to avoiding and reducing as far as possible all our emissions, with the aim of becoming carbon neutral by 2025! To reduce our direct emissions (operations & activities), we have introduced the following measures - Eliminating all our trips outside Haute Savoie, Savoie, Valais and Val d'Aoste, and all our day activities more than 60 km from Chamonix. When we are asked to operate outside these areas, we refer our clients to local guide companies. - Optimization of luggage transport on our trips and widespread use of public transport. - Introduction of telecommuting for our employees, reduction of our minibus fleet, and remote working for our guides. Known the world over, Chamonix attracts an international clientele that relies in part on air travel. Although it is difficult for us to take concrete action on our indirect emissions (customer journeys), we have nevertheless introduced the following measures: - Development of a carbon calculator to calculate the impact of home - Chamonix journeys. Elimination of all promotional activities in long-haul destinations. It makes no sense to us to compensate without questioning our activities. Reduction and elimination are our priority, and offsetting should be a last resort. By 2025, our direct emissions (operations & activities) will be fully offset. The equivalent amount will be donated to our FOEHN environmental fund to support local awareness-raising and conservation initiatives.
