From Venosc to Allemond, via Le Bourg-d'Oisans, the voie verte is a real link in the heart of the Oisans region, connecting the 6 valleys and the mythical mountain passes!
This is your chance to cross the Romanche plain in the company of other cyclists, without the stress of traffic! Don't miss this chance to avoid the main road and get to the foot of the pass of your choice. Tackle the Col d'Ornon, with its little-traveled road winding up the mountainside, or the famous Alpe d'Huez bends. Between Venosc and Le Bourg-d'Oisans, the voie verte winds along the Vénéon before skirting the cliffs to the Cascade de la Pisse. You then bypass Le Bourg d'Oisans and reach Allemond via the Romanche dike.
For a family outing, take the time to stop along the greenway to discover the artisans, producers and museums that are members of the Route des Savoir-Faire.
The Bourg d'Oisans - Venosc section is the only uphill section of the greenway, covering just over a kilometer, but beware of the 30 m difference in altitude!
Balisage : The path is marked with French cycling & greenway signs.
