Departure from the station Arrival of the chairlift of the Games, go to the right and take the gravel track until you reach the crossroads at the top of the Inversins chairlift. From there, turn right and continue on the track for about 1.2 km. Cross underneath the Les Jeux chairlift before arriving at Aux Jeux. Continue straight ahead on the piste for about 700 m (passing under the Gros Crey chairlift) and at Sous le Gros Crey (crossroads leading to the lake), take the piste that climbs to the right. Cross the ski slope and join the path that leads to Méraloup (crossroads). From there, a round trip is possible to admire the viewpoint on the Maurienne valley. Back to Méraloup, take the path that goes down to Sur Chien Loup and then turn left to reach Les Charmettes (cross). From there, keep going down. When you reach the road, pass under the ski bridge and continue on the road to reach Le Chapier, then Valmeinier 1800.
VARIANTE
To reach Valmeinier Villages: At Sur Chien Loup, turn right and go down towards Bois Bouchet. From this point, turn left and join Chien Loup then continue straight ahead towards La Combaz. At Anchical, turn right towards La Ville Dessus and then Valmeinier Villages.
