Experience a day of history as you explore the cloisters of the Benedictine Abbey and wander through the narrow streets of Pérouges, a jewel of the Middle Ages.

10h30 : Historical tour of Ambronay Benedictine Abbey
More than 1,000 years of history await you at the Abbey, founded in the 9th century by Saint Bernard, an officer of Charlemagne. Discover its magnificent Gothic cloister, its defensive towers, the serenity of its abbey church and discover its secrets: who lived here? What do these stones tell us?

15h : Guided tour of Pérouges.
Listed as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France", this ancient 12th-century merchant town has a maze of cobbled streets behind its ramparts and a unique heritage. Take us back to the Middle Ages on an informative and picturesque guided tour (bring flat shoes).
