The Gabonese singer with the bantu soul voice is back with "Kaba", her second album recorded between Accra, Berlin and Paris. After learning and evolving alongside the likes of Salif Keita, Oumou Sangaré and Cheick Tidiane Seck... she now asserts her musical identity: a bubbling cocktail of Afro-pop, Bantu-style highlife and Afrobeat that plunges us into the effervescence of the restless nights of Central Africa.
Accompanied on stage by her musical director Kwame Yeboah, multi-instrumentalist and architect of albums by the iconic Ghanaian highlife singer Pat Thomas, the charismatic singer's catchy pop melodies are in line with current trends.
At the same time, she puts her music at the service of what she calls "joyful feminism". Get ready for 1h30 of over-the-top ambiance and contagious good humor.
