The Association du Foyer de ski de fond et d'animation du Col d'Ornon is an association governed by the law of July 1, 1901. The Association was founded in 1976.

The Association's aims are:
to promote and coordinate local initiatives for the development of quality cross-country skiing for all those wishing to practice this activity at sport or amateur level, as well as all related winter activities (snowshoeing, tobogganing, etc.).

develop mid-mountain sports activities - summer and winter - from the Col d'Ornon.

to introduce young people to cross-country skiing (for schoolchildren) and mid-mountain sports activities.

The Association owns a range of equipment (cross-country skis and boots, alternative and skating, snowshoes) which is available for hire at the Foyer. The Association also sells the mandatory stickers required for Nordic skiing.

The trails start from the Foyer de ski de fond.
The Col d'Ornon Nordic ski area offers pleasant trails winding through a magnificent alpine forest. Marvel at the peaks of Taillefer, Grand Armet, Tête des Filons and Vallon.

Good to know: there's a 500 m link to the Nordic site from Plan du Col.

Tips

- The Gold Package, at €190, is an annual, non-nominative and therefore transferable package! Use it with family and friends throughout the winter season, for downhill and cross-country skiing!

Full-bottom equipment rental: adult 10€ child 6
Toboggan rental : 5€ child
Snowshoe ski rental: 10

Cross-country ski stickers are mandatory.

Child day: €5

Weekly child: €17

Annual adult NORDIC PASS: €50

Free for children under 3 and over 76.

On-slope pass (when checked) 15€ adults and children.
