The refuge is located in the heart of the alpine pastureland in the Golèse pass and offers a superb view of the Giffre Valley and Samoens and the Manche Valley and Morzine. Accessible to all walkers aged over 5 in 1h30 (a climb of 600 meters), the refuge was completely rebuilt in 1995 to offer all the comforts of a modern facility. You will be welcomed to this refuge, that combines modern amenities and Alpine charm, by the Baud family, which has owned and run the establishment for more than 25 years. On your walk to the refuge, you can appreciate the rich variety of local flora and fauna, before enjoying a drink, a meal or settling down for a good night's sleep. The refuge is a staging post on the GR5 and the tour of the Dents Blanches and the starting point of numerous walks and hikes. Come and appreciate the warm welcome and Savoy specialities (gratin savoyard, fondue, pela, etc.) that make our refuge a must for anyone visiting Haute Savoie.
