You'll learn why the chalets were built the way they were, and immerse yourself in mountain peasant life, with all the little tricks of the trade of the time to make daily life easier for the inhabitants, to survive in this sometimes hostile environment. We'll tell you about the "old days", but also about our present-day life here in Le Grand-Bornand, with its farms, its mountains, its activities, its champions, its traditional festivals... A walk to discover Grand-Bornand through the ages, and fully immerse yourself in our village!
For technical information, mountain guides are on duty at the Tourist office from 6pm to 7pm in July and August.
