Gypsum Festival 2023 program

From July 11 to 13, you can watch the sculptors at work during the day.

From July 11 to 14, introductory sculpting course from 5pm to 6:30pm (fee payable)

Friday July 14th
From 4pm :
- Games for adults and children
- Serge Truchet proposes a walking tour of Les Bottières. Please register in advance with the Montagnicimes Tourist Office.
- Refreshments and snacks
8pm, concert with "Accordages
National Day fireworks at 10:30 p.m. to round off this first day of festivities.

Saturday July 15th
Starting at 4pm :
- Serge Truchet proposes a walking tour of Les Bottières. Please register in advance with the Montagnicimes Tourist Office.
- 2, 3 and 4 p.m.: tours of the quarries. Registration at the Montagnicimes Tourist Office. Shuttle service from Les Bottières.
- From 4.30pm, entertainment with Magalie Poipy: "Living well with your dog in the Maurienne".
- At 6pm, mass at Les Colonnes in the Chapelle Saint-Bernard de Menthon, with bread baked in the communal oven at Les Colonnes, chichole** at the end of mass and bread sales.
- Refreshment bar and snacks (barbecue and French fries)
- Bal populaire with Maurice

Sunday July 16th
- At 9:30 a.m., Serge Truchet proposes a hike on Les Bottières, prior registration with the Montagnicimes Tourist Office.
- Craft market
- Exhibition of local artists (Eva Rojas, Mewhin...)
- 10:30 am, opening of the festival with presentation of the sculptors and unveiling of their works
- 11am, bread sale
- 11:30 am, aperitif
- 12:30 pm, traditional festive meal
- Children's games (wooden games, angling, bouncy castle, ponies...)
- Children's entertainment with Sylvain Baudoin (gypsum sculptures)
- Musical entertainment with Funky Brass
- Street entertainment with Les Sam's
- At 3 p.m., cheese-making animation for children by GAEC des Ardoisiers
- Refreshments and snacks
- Tombola draw at 5pm
