Hike: Col de la Forclaz from Verthier

0/ Starting from the carpark, head left towards Verthier hamlet. Be careful when you cross the D909a road.
1/ Follow the road to the bridge. Continue until the chapel.
2/ Take the path going behind the chapel. The path is the GR 96 and the GRP around lake Annecy.
3/ Follow this path all the way. The slope is gentle with a few beautiful views of the lake through the trees. Go up the large easy bends, do not take the sentier du Mont-Bogon, turn left towards the Col de la Forclaz.

On the pass, enjoy a well-deserved break in one of the bars/restaurants of your choosing before you continue uo to the paragliding and hang gliding take-off where the view and the aerial ballet are breathtaking.
