La Ferme Blanche is a small boutique hotel-style alpine B&B/inn on the edge of an unspoilt mountain hamlet just below the ski resort of Montalbert (part of La Plagne and Paradiski). The charming 18th century farmhouse is surrounded by meadows and forest and has breathtaking views across the Tarentaise valley and surrounding mountain tops. Handy for the 6000D trail run and the 6D Trek in summer, it's just a quick drive up to the ski lifts in winter (you can ski back off-piste if you dare, although a guide is advisable).
If you stay half board, you can enjoy delicious home cooking with a regional flavour, freshly baked cakes, and seasonal produce. Where possible, we use organic and/or locally sourced meat and dairy produce and, in summer, the vegetables are increasingly from our own garden. We also do our best to support artisan producers locally and in the surrounding area.
Open most of the year (closed October and November), you can stay B&B, catered or half board, with flexible start dates and length of stay. We run a courtesy shuttle service to the lifts in winter for half board guests (5 mins drive) and offer a free transfer service for guests arriving at Aime La Plagne train station, summer or winter.
Tips
We also give train travellers a 5% discount.
