"At the corner of a pond, in the shade of an old farmhouse or in the middle of a meadow, as of this summer a new place in Grand-Bornand will invite young and old to take the time to be together. Source of knowledge and creation, source of life and transmission, it is quite natural that this place is called "La Source". As the seasons go by, the themes will change but the message remains the same: listen to the mountains and let them guide us towards unexplored paths. "
Stroll through the meadow of La Source, home to the animals of the educational farm and its organic garden. Immerse yourself in an imaginary burrow and discover the underground life of emblematic animals of the alpine biotope. Let yourself be surprised by giant structures such as the Agrivolution, the Cauldron Carousel, the Giant Bell or the Play Tree and discover free play areas and sharing areas such as a sculptural bench in the shape of the Aravis mountains, inviting young and old to have fun together around life in the mountains, to the rhythm of two cuckoos singing.
Find fun and offbeat outdoor play areas: the play tree, the book beehives and the educational garden, the parent-powered merry-go-round, the giant Sonnaille... and inside: the café and its Bô'Bar, La Grange aux Etoiles, the workshop rooms, La vache cinétique.
La Source is designed to welcome all kinds of visitors (children, parents, individuals, groups, schools, etc.). A specific annual programme will enrich the place to make it evolve and live.

From 01/06 to 05/07/2024, every Wednesday and Saturday between 10 am and 6 pm.
From 06/07 to 30/08/2024, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 10 am and 6 pm.
From 31/08 to 22/09/2024, every Wednesday and Saturday between 10 am and 6 pm.
Tarifs
Adult: 9 € Child (4-12 years): 11 €.
Free entry for children < 4 years.
Pass loisirs Aravis price: 8 € / adult, 10 € / child. Price for disabled persons: 5 €. La Source card with 10 entries: 80 €. La Source ticket includes a visit to the Heritage house during the week.
