La Vallombreuse, a beautiful 16th-century stronghold nestled near the Château de Menthon St Bernard, offers 5 large family rooms and suites, surrounded by a large garden. Equipped with all mod cons, the rooms are located in the old farmhouse, which has been completely restored and is reserved for guests. Near the lake, Talloires, the Col de la Forclaz, Annecy, Geneva and the ski resorts, this is an ideal destination.
Sustainable tourism
Ecology and the protection of our environment have an important place in the changes made to La Vallombreuse and its operations. Our breakfasts are composed of home-made, local and regional products and we no longer use plastic bottles. Selective sorting and composting is applied on a daily basis. Our small, single-use bottled hospitality products are replaced by renewable ecological products. We are constantly looking for the best solution to combine comfort, service and ecology. Our cleaning products are organic. We believe that our guests can also help us to preserve our beautiful nature and our planet in the conscious use of water, electricity and heating. Ecology is nowadays at the centre of our life and we are all responsible for it.
