Moonship Washboard Five -Jazz in fort l'écluse

The musicians who make up this group are all passionate about jazz of the 20s and 30s, and have been playing together for several decades. Over the years, they've become more than friends, they've become accomplices.

What unites them is passion and good music. They draw their repertoire from Louis Armstrong's Hot Five, of course, but not only. Clarence Williams, Fats Waller and many others form the basis of their repertoire, from New Orleans jazz to Chicago.

Two words can be used to describe this band's performance: spontaneity and joie de vivre. We hope you enjoy listening to and watching the "Moonship Washboard Five".
