Description

Where and how : the river Arve, with a route of 15km+ between Passy and Magland. 6 medium-level rapids with wide movements of water – the perfect place to explore the environment and to learn about the activity.

Duration of activity : 3 ½ to 4 hours

Level : class 2, relatively easy.

Type of craft available: Raft, mini-raft, canoe-raft, kayak-raft, paddleboard.

Start point : Session Raft Passy raft Centre, 200m after exit 21 on the A40 motorway, in the direction of Le Fayet.

Open to : families, children 12 yrs+, groups.

Equipment provided : wet suit, jacket, lifejacket, neoprene socks, helmet, oar.

Equipment to bring with you : swimming costume and towel, glasses clip, snacks.

The session is as follows:

You'll be welcomed at our base in Passy, provided with refreshment and then you’ll get kitted up.
We will transport you to the departure point on the river, 300m away from our centre.

After a comprehensive briefing (safety and navigation instructions), you will set off for about 2 ½ to 3 hours navigation on the river with your guide.

Programme features : in the company of your guide, you’ll discover the wonders of this natural environment in the Mont-Blanc region and take your time to explore every nook and cranny of the river.

Ouverture

From 01/04 to 05/10, daily between 8.30 am and 7 pm except on Easter Monday, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, July 14th and August 15th.
