The Doors Revival have been in existence since 1997, devoting themselves exclusively to covers of Jim Morrison's famous band The Doors. Quick to become masters of the genre, they were voted best Swiss cover band in the 2001 competition at the Ned in Montreux (which earned them 2 appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival), and since then, The Doors Revival have played most of Switzerland's venues and festivals, with a large number of shows (Ebullition, Usine à Gaz Nyon, Ned in Montreux, Bleu Lézard Lausanne, Sierre Blues Festival closing Status Quo, Caprices Festival, Breitling Sion Air Show, die Alte Kaserne, RighiBlick Théâtre and Zurifäscht in Zürich... ) Atypical and timeless, the Doors' tortured rock still strikes a chord in the hearts of several generations of music lovers, a testament to the quality of a style that audiences never seem to tire of.
