A real balcony suspended above the Arve valley, this peak culminates at 1877m. Its situation allows a dominant view on all the surrounding summits, particularly on the Bargy chain and the Aravis on one side, and the Mont-Blanc chain, the Geneva lake and the Jura massif on the other.
Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
1/ Once parked on the parking of Solaison (next to the gîte la Fruitière), pass in front of the restaurant de la Bruyère. 2/ Continue on the road. At the intersection, turn right and follow the visible path going up to the Pointe d'Andey. 3/ The climb is steady. Be careful, the top of the point is steep and plunges on the Arve valley 1400 m below.
