Refuge de Platé
Description

Day 1: Departure Passy Plaine Joux then climb to Chalets de Platé. Overnight stay at Refuge de Sales. 4h50 walking, 11km, 1200 EG, 650 EL.
Day 2: From Sales, reach the Fonts refuge via the Pleureuse and Sauffaz waterfalls and the carriage trail. Overnight at the refuge des Fonts. 3h30 walk, 9km, 400 EG, 900 EL.
Day 3: Departure from the Refuge des Fonts for the Refuge Alfred Wills via the Petit Col d'Anterne. Overnight stay at Alfred Wills. 2h35 walk, 6km, 700 EG, 250 EL.
Day 4: Return to Plaine Joux via Col d'Anterne, refuge de Moëde Anterne, refuge du Chatelet d'Ayères and Lac Vert. Possibility of passing Lac de Pormenaz between Moëde and Chatelet. 4h30 walking, 12km, 500 EG, 1000 EL.

From November to May, the route is cleared. Snow may still be present in spring.
In winter, access to the Tour des Fiz is not recommended (high-level ski mountaineering only).

Accessible outside the snow season and depending on weather conditions. Please check with the Tourist Offices beforehand for current access conditions and the opening hours of refuges along the route.

Tarifs

Free access. There is no charge for the tour itself, only for accommodation and services (catering, accompaniment by a mountain professional). Bivouacs are authorized but regulated in nature reserves.
