Refuge du Grenairon
Description
Day 1: Depart Passy Plaine Joux and head for Barmus. Arriving at Ayères des Rocs, take the Dérochoir passage to reach the refuge de Sales. Continue in the direction of Salvagny, from where you'll start the climb to the Grenairon refuge. 9h30 walking, 22.5km, 2100EG, 1500EL Day 2: From the Grenairon hut, descend to the Fonts hut, then descend to the Alfred Wills hut. 6h walking, 14.5km, 1050EG, 1200EL Day 3: From the Alfred Wills refuge, head for Lac d'Anterne, passing the Col d'Anterne before dropping down to the refuge de Moëde. Then head for Lac de Pormenaz, then the Argentières trail to the Chatelet d'Ayères. From there, follow Lac Vert to your starting point. 4h50 walking, 12.5km, 650EL, 1100EL

From 15/06 to 10/09. Check refuge openings at www.monrefugeaupaysdumontblanc.com From November to May, the route is cleared. Snow may still be present in spring. In winter, access to the Tour des Fiz is not recommended (high-level ski mountaineering only).
Accessible outside the snow season and depending on weather conditions. Please check with the Tourist Offices beforehand for current access conditions and the opening hours of refuges along the route.

Tarifs
Free access. There is no charge for the tour itself, only for accommodation and services (catering, accompaniment by a mountain professional). Bivouacs are authorized but regulated in nature reserves.
