Description
Savoy cheeses have many fans, but can they recognise them "blind"? After a presentation on the nutritional value of milk, the different cheese types and the different stages of production, children will rediscover Savoie cheeses by focusing on their 5 senses and sharing their impressions. An approach that awakens all the senses!
Topics covered: the 5 senses, each illustrated by an activity involving three of Savoie's label cheeses: Abondance, Tomme de Savoie and Reblochon. The workshop ends with a tasting of these cheeses, of course!
Organisation: explanations and discussions about the senses with the mediator, followed by individual activities.
Tips
A shop offers you local products, directly from local farmers or companies (Savoy cheeses, salted meats, jams, honey, books, souvenirs). Ask for the catalogue, place your order and collect it at the end of your visit!
