With a padded belt around your waist and a strap that is about 1m50 long, you are attached to the dog's harness. After putting the harness and equipment in place, spending some time with the dog and an explanation of what will happen, the walk can start. You will learn to understand and lead your dog and share with him the effort and pleasure of walking on the paths around Montalbert. The dog is your ally as you climb up and makes coming back down even more fun!
Sports activity in mountain surroundings. Walking on marked hiking trails, about 10 km of walking during the full day outing and 5km for the half day.
Accessible for families, minimum age 6 yrs, not for pregnant women. Children aged 11 and under are harnessed to one dog, paired with a parent or another child of a similar age.
The meeting point is at the kennels, 2 km past the resort of Plagne Montalbert in the direction of Route des Centres.
Tips
A tour of the kennels is proposed free of charge every Sunday, 2.30 - 4.30pm, during the summer season. It is an opportunity to discover our dog team and get more information on our activities.
