The Croix de Chamrousse take-off area gets 2 orientations North and West. It is a mountain take-off which has 2 orientations North and West. The site is located at the top of the Chamrousse ski resort at an altitude of 2250 m
- Ideal conditions :
○ 0 to 10 km/h (beginner pilots) and 10 to 25 km/h (expert pilots). Dangers in strong winds.
Favourable winds: N;SE;S;SW;W;NW
- Flying season: April to October from 7:30 in the morning until late in the evening (21:00)
- Flight periods: spring summer winter
- Landings : Uriage
○ Rest at the top possible
○ Landing available at 3.5 glide ratio
○ Grand Champ station under the needle take-off - West to North - 1650 m
○ La Richardière - St Martin d'Uriage - West - 550 m (horses, site to visit before flight)
- Progressive slope
Access by gondola possible in winter and summer, depending on opening days and hours.
