Thanks to a sensory journey in 9 stages, the children will learn about all the specificities of Abondance cheese, which they will taste at the end of the visit!
Topics covered: geography of the Abondance valley; the breeds of cow authorised to make Abondance cheese, their diet, the milk and the bells; the production of cheese in the past and today; maturing; the labels, the 8 Savoy cheeses with a quality sign.
A shop offers you local products, directly from local farmers or companies (Savoy cheeses, salted meats, jams, honey, books, souvenirs).
Ask for the catalogue, place your order and collect it at the end of your visit!
All year round, daily except on January 1st and December 25th.

Group children: 4 to 4.50 € (4€ for primary >20 children and 4.50€ for primary <20 children, middle & high schools.).
Group rate available for > 10 people.
