Description
In summer: Access via the "Grenoble" pedestrian loop of the Croix de Chamrousse pedestrian routes, at an altitude of approximately 2,250 metres: - Point of interest: panoramic tables, views of the city of Grenoble and its valley with the Grésivaudan, the Chartreuse and Vercors massifs as well as the lakes of Laffrey and the famous Mont Aiguille + future departure of a giant tyrolienne [to come]. - Distance: about 500 metres / Type of route: loop / Difference in height: about 30 metres / Duration: about 20-25 minutes / Difficulty: blue - intermediate - Route: gondola > picnic area > rooftop > station view trail > La Croix restaurant > gondola
In winter: not accessible (but exceptionally open for January 2023).
Easy access possible via the La Croix cable car (fee payable): every day in the summer season (July-August) and at weekends only at the end of June and in September (subject to weather conditions).
