La Canopée des Cîmes

La Canopée des Cîmes (mountaintop canopy) is a suspension lookout located on the very summit of Val Cenis (2 800meters / 9186,352 feet) which can host 15 to 20 people simultaneously.
Formerly everybody arriving with the chairlift used to reach the mountain edge in order to appreciate the open landscape onto the Mont Cenis lake and Franco-Italian mountains.
This unusual and genuine architectural platform allows people to move safely forward above the air and appreciate the outstanding surrounding landscape.

From 07/07 to 29/08, daily between 10 am and 4 pm.
Accessible Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday by the Vieux Moulin gonfola, the Solert chairlift and less than an hour's walk.

From 15/12/2024 to 21/04/2025, daily between 9 am and 4.30 pm.

Free access. Winter: accessible by the Met chairlift for holders of a valid ski pass. No pedestrian access.
Summer: accessible by the Solert chairlift for holders of a valid ski pass. For hikers, free access.
