Mechanical Music Museum

Description

The museum doubled its surfaces in 2013, the scenography has been changed in 2017 and some new pieces are added every year.

Building A, guided visit, during you could hear the instruments and see them working

Building B, self-tour with The automates and music toys room, the speaking machines room, the fair ground organ...
In the Imperial Gallery, linking the two buildings: pedagogical area, temporary exhibition and a reconstituted street presenting a collection of barrel organs from their origins to the present day.

Inventing new techniques, adapting musical instruments to record and reproduce sounds, imagining the most audacious musical machines capable of doing without humans. Let yourself be surprised and discover an original and unique collection of over 900 pieces.

Joint entrance ticket for the Museum and exhibition areas (1500m2), about 2 hours visit.

Ouverture

From 01/01 to 31/12/2025
daily between 2.15 pm and 7 pm.
Closed exceptionally on January 1st, May 1st and December 25th.

Tarifs

Large family: 38 €.

Free entry for children under 4.
Group rate available for 20 people or more.
