The Roc des Arces is a small mountain overlooking Le Grand-Bornand, a wild climax where you need to be adventurous and have a 'mountain' foot to climb it. If you're young and keen to sneak up deftly and do a bit of balancing, this is the adventure for you! Once you reach the summit, the scenery is breathtaking and you might even spot a chamois in this peaceful spot. It's a great opportunity to talk about all the animals that live in the mountains, and maybe see a few more... Bring a small rucksack with a windbreaker, water, a snack, unworn hiking or sports shoes (check the condition of the soles), a cap, the telephone number of the parents or adults responsible, etc...
For technical information, mountain guides are on duty at the Tourist Office from 6pm to 7pm in July and August.
