Description

Standing between the rivers Rhône and Saône, come and discover a spectacular piece of architecture designed by the Austrian firm CoopHimmelb(l)au.
Enjoy a unique experience within a monumental structure of metal and glass, following the great story of the human adventure from our origins to the present day. Venture on a journey through time and across continents and encounter endless curiosities: meteorites, pterodactyls, hummingbirds, female Homo sapiens, microscopes, Siberian tiger, Sputnik, Samurai armour and more.

The diversity and originality of the objects, the exceptional architecture of the building and the many spaces for relaxation promise a wondrous experience.

Ouverture

From 01/01 to 31/12
Opening hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 10.30 am and 6.30 pm.
Closed exceptionally on January 1st, May 1st and December 25th.
Open every day during school holidays in zone A. Ticket office closes at 5.45pm. Closing at 6pm on 24 and 31 December. Nocturne until 10pm every first Thursday of the month.

Tarifs

Full price: 12 €
Adult: 7 € (from 18 to 25 years old)
Reduced price: 7 €.

Free entry for children < 18 years, Job-seeker, disabled people and accompanying persons.

Free with Lyon City Card
€ 7 – group rate,10 or more adults (solely by reservation).
