A day to discover the mountain pastures and the men who live every day at the rate of their flock: milking, maintenance of the spaces to graze, cheese making ... Come and share a moment of their life in a natural environment that they maintain generations after generations.
"easy hike": starting by walk from Vallandry to join the montagnettes (alpine pastures) of Barmont and Maïtaz before taking a lift bringing you to the high pastures. Beaufort cheese tasting around a lake during the picnic then descent to the herd at the time of milking and visit the alpine chalet where the cheese maker will share his know-how. Back to the resort by walking along the flowering meadows and beautiful landscapes of Vanoise "
